Age: 27 Birthday: February 25 (Pisces) Career: Currently pursuing a DMA in Early Music Performance (emphasis voice) at USC. (Translation: I sing music composed before c.1750.) My parents were both music majors in college so I grew up loving classical music and singing, but I didn't really think about making it my career until my last year in high school. I'm so glad I decided to choose music over medicine because music is my true passion...it makes me happy and gives me peace. It's also one more thing that connects me to Troy. I am in my last semester of coursework, so I'll be busy with recitals and finals. I will be taking qualifying exams and graduating after we're married. Once I graduate I plan to start teaching, and to continue performing as much as possible! Favorite Things: My handsome fiance (of course), baseball, summer evenings, Hawaii and all things Hawaiian, oldies, The Beatles, Italian food, music music music. Favorite Memory with Troy: The day he proposed is probably my favorite. But it's hard to choose, we've had so many amazing times together...when he took me to Disneyland after my last recital, our first vacation to Maui, my first Luper Dupree show... |
